Based in the rural rolling hills of South Cumbria we have slowly built our very own log village. Starting in the old orchard Damson & Pear Tree cabin built from Siberian fir and hand crafted here in Cumbria.

Both with split level layouts and positioned to take in the views.

Guardswood Cabin our largest cabin sleeping 6 with its giant logs and open trusses was felled in 2009 just up the road in Coniston look out for Harry Guards wood in the Wainwright books.

Finished earlier in 2018 our oak framed cabin - Blackberry Landing sits in a prominent position on the fell-side, our cosy cabin ideal for short breaks.

Whatever your interests the area isn't far from some great scenery, a historic house, cobbled villages, activities, festivals and of course some  famous Wainwright walks to tick of your list.

Or perhaps a relaxed laid-back break is just what your looking for, kick back enjoy the views from the 

covered terraces and spot the wildlife right on the doorstep. Newland Valley offers a truly unique experience staying in a true hand scribed log cabin or oak framed lodge , tranquility at its best.
